Know Your Audience (OMTAC Ltd) Code Of Conduct
Please also see our Booking 'Terms & Conditions', thank you.
The following standard 'Code Of Conduct’ applies to all bookings for Know Your Audience Events (OMTAC Ltd):
> Know Your Audience Events are organised by OMTAC Ltd (www.KnowYourAudience.io).
> Attendance to an event and access to the On Demand resources is restricted to those working in the Education sector at named, established institutions, associations and/or organisations. Right of admission is reserved. (If you are a potential Sponsor or Exhibitor please contact us to discuss your involvement.)
'CODE OF CONDUCT'
Our events have always had a fantastic, positive atmosphere. Over the years Know Your Audience has continued to attract delegates, speakers and exhibitors and sponsors who act respectfully and professionally and participate in a friendly and supportive way.
We are very keen to ensure this continues and, reflecting the introduction of 'Codes Of Conduct' by other event organisers, we thought it might be helpful to emphasise how important this is to us and to all those who attend Know Your Audience events.
We are therefore happy to state explicitly that by choosing to attend all those involved - including attendees, speakers, event and venue staff, exhibitors and sponsors – will be deemed to accept and agree to our ‘Code Of Conduct’ (terms of participation), thus helping to ensure the welcoming, friendly and respectful environment we have all come to expect.
To confirm these terms of participation... we expect everyone attending to act professionally at all times. Should it be deemed necessary by any of the KYA team to ask anyone to stop any harassing or inappropriate behaviour then that person or persons (and/or company or organisation) will be expected to do so immediately.
We reserve the right to ask any person or persons (and/or company or organisation) whom we deem to be behaving inappropriately to leave immediately, without refund. (The opportunity to attend and/or exhibit or sponsor future events may also be withdrawn.)
We will not tolerate inappropriate behaviour or harassment of attendees, speakers, event and venue staff, exhibitors and sponsors, in any form, including inappropriate online conduct such as responses to talks or comments. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for our events, including within talks.
We invite any KYA event participants to bring any behaviour they feel is inappropriate to the attention of the KYA team.
Harassment may include (but may not be restricted to) offensive or inappropriate verbal or online based comments, sexual imagery, intimidation, stalking, disruption of talks, disruptive or otherwise negative behaviour towards exhibitors and sponsors, harassing photography or recording, inappropriate physical contact and unwelcome sexual attention.
